ROCK Tournament Sponsors
The ROCK Invitational Basketball Tournament has been in existence for over 20 years. Hosted by Regina Christian School, Harvest City Christian Academy, and Scott Collegiate, the event brings over 24 teams and over 300 participants together to play 44 games over the course of the weekend, making it one of the largest tournaments in the province.
Over the years, the tournament has received significant media attention though the CBC, Global, Leader-Post, and Youtube. Even the former Saskatchewan Premier, Brad Wall, tweeted about “the shot” that went viral by Simon Nieblas in the 2015 tournament.
Friday night of the event, RCS hosts an All-Star event where fans and players pack into the gymnasium to watch and compete in 2-Ball, 3-Point, and Dunk Competitions. We also feature an all-star game where the tournament all-stars compete against the coaches. At the end of the Friday night event, prominent coaches and university and professional athletes provide motivational and life impacting messages for those in attendance. All our games are streamed on The Rock YouTube channel using Pixellot professional software, allowing hundreds to also view online.
An event of such magnitude cannot be successful without the generosity and support of the community.
