Before and After School Program

Kindergarten to Grade 6

Regina Christian School offers before and after school care for students in kindergarten to grade 6. The program is located on the lower main level across from the canteen.

Program Information

The Before School Program offers:

  • games and toys
  • crafts and activities
  • socializing with other students.

The After School Program offers:

  • a light snack
  • access to a computer
  • books, games, and art activities
  • outdoor activities
  • the opportunity to attend extra-curricular activities (basketball & volleyball games) in the gym
  • socializing with other students of various ages. 

Hours of operation

  • Before School: 7:30 am to 8:15 am
  • After School: 3:35 pm to 5:30 pm 

Rates

MONTHLY

Prices (per child) per month are as follows:

  • Before & After School: $250 per month
  • Before School only: $100 per month
  • After School only: $180 per month.

NOTE: Parents who have not picked up their child(ren) by 5:30 pm will be assessed a $20 late pick-up fee.  An additional charge of $25 will be added for every 15 minutes late, or portion thereof.

If there are three or more children who are enrolled in the program from one family, the third child will be half price. This is for those who attend on a continuous basis, not drop-in.

DROP-IN

  • Before School only– $10.00 per child per day
  • After School only– $18.00 per child per day
  • Before & After School: $28 per child per day

 NOTE: Parents who have not picked up their child(ren) by 5:30 pm will be assessed a $20 late pick-up fee.  An additional charge of $25 will be added for every 15 minutes late, or portion thereof.

Grades 7 to 12

We also provide after-school supervision in our Library for students in grades 7 to 12 who are in the school until 5:30 pm for a fee of $5.00 per day or $75 a month. Students not leaving the building or being picked up after school must be supervised and attend one of these programs. If you are picking up a child(ren) from the Library, please text the Before and After School cell phone upon your arrival as the building will be locked. Students will not be released without direct contact from the parent to the Before and After School Program supervisors.
